Over the last 15 years ANV Measurement Systems and Rion have earned a fantastic reputation for the successful supply of noise and vibration systems for construction and demolition projects. This reputation is based upon the key attributes of the Rion and Profound kit and the ANV Measurement Systems service, in particular:
- Reliable instruments
- That are easy to use
- Easy and quick to download
- Realistically priced instruments
- Realistically priced accessories and spares
- A good sized stock of instruments both for sales and hire;
- A team of people in the office (not all out on the road) ready to assist you over the phone
- Knowledgeable and friendly technical support
- Flexible and practical customer service
We have excellent instruments for sample noise measurements and sample vibration measurements but our reputation has been principally been built on our reliable, easy to use and realistically priced long-term noise and vibration monitors.
LivEnviro, which is our current flagship product, provides web-based real-time monitoring of noise, vibration, dust and weather facilitating practical and strategic control of sites' and projects' environmental impacts.
If you don't require remote access to the data our Standard or Enhanced long-term noise kits are ideal for construction/demolition site noise monitoring. Our long-term site noise monitors differ from other suppliers and manufacturers because the standard microphones supplied with the instruments are used with Rion's simple but effective outdoor protection. With other manufacturers' kit you generally have to buy an additional and expensive outdoor microphone. This doesn't just have initial cost implications (these outdoor mics are often comparable in cost to buying an additional meter). Accidents do happen on construction sites and often it is the microphone (the most delectate and exposed element of a noise monitor) that gets damaged. This will cost hundreds of pounds to replace if it's a standard Rion mic but thousands of pounds to replace if it is a dedicated outdoor microphone of Scandinavian origin. This is one of the reasons that the Rion and ANV Measurement Systems are uniquely suited to construction and demolition sites.
Our construction/demolition vibration meters have been designed specifically for the job. They are not meters which have been designed for quarries and blasting. They record PPV and dominant frequency enabling the monitoring of the vibration limits in BS 5228: Part 2 for building damage and community response and the building damage criteria from BS 7385: Part 2 and DIN 4150: Part 3.
