ANV Measurement Systems provide a calibration service for Rion sound level meters and analysers.

As the sole UK distributors of Rion Sound and Vibration Products, ANV have unique access to all the technical information, spares and inside knowledge of Rion products.

All instruments are fully tested against the appropriate standards (in particular BS 7580: Part 1 for Sound Level Meters) and Rion’s specifications. It should be noted that Rion’s (Class 1, Class 2, Type 1 and Type 2) calibrators and sound level meters are all independently type tested, so conformance with their performance specification ensures conformance to Type.

ANV Measurement Systems electroacoustic calibration equipment’s calibration is traceable to national standards.

The key aspects of the ANV Measurement Systems Calibration Service are:

• less down time - you arrange a time with ANV Measurement Systems to have your meter calibrated when it will cause least disruption to your work;

• three levels of calibration available:

  Certificate of Compliance with Manufacturer’s Specifications; Certificate of Compliance with Manufacturer’s Specifications with a Full Set of Results; and UKAS Accredited Calibration.

There are times when repairs or upgrades to instruments cannot be carried out immediately. In which case:

• you can rest assured that, as the sole UK Distributor of Rion Products, we have the quickest access to any spares that have to be sourced from Rion;
• we will undertake to keep you informed of progress; and
• you may wish to take advantage of a discounted hire rate for a replacement instrument from our hire service.
