Rion specialise in portable instruments that will measure and/or record accurate data in sensible formats on the move. These battery-powered, open-architecture instruments can be used with most standard noise or vibration sensors and store data as comma separated variable files and record signals in standard wav file format.
The DA-20 is a data recorder which stores up to 4 channels of sound or vibration data as a standard multi-channel wav file.
The DA-40 is a data recorder which stores up to 8 channels of sound or vibration data as a standard multi-channel wav file.
The VA-12 is a single channel vibration analyser, which can be used to display overall levels of acceleration, velocity and displacement simultaneously or the FFT (in terms of acceleration, velocity or displacement) or the time trace of the signal (like an oscilloscope) and which can simultaneously record a calibrated wav file of the signal that is being measured.
Similarly, for noise, the multi-function NA-28 Noise Analyser (fitted with the NX-28WR option) can be used to analyse the noise level in situ whilst simultaneously recording a calibrated wav file for subsequent analysis.
