Rion VX-54WB1 Whole Body Vibration Program for the Rion VM-54

The Rion VM-54 with the VX-54WB1 Whole Body Vibration option have revolutionised whole body vibration measurements. At last, a major manufacturer that you can trust has produced a whole body vibration measurement system that’s as easy to use as a logging sound level meter. For environmental vibration surveys you just set the meter up to log at, say, 1 or 5 minute intervals and return a week or so later to pick up the data (this does require a power supply or gel-cell batteries). The meter stores the VDVs (and other indices) to a compact flash card in a sensibly formatted comma separated variable text file which pulls straight into a spreadsheet program for easy manipulation. Perfect for railway vibration for instance.

The ease of use for occupational whole body vibration enables manufacturers, consultants and occupational health professionals to easily obtain sensible data confidently. The weightings and k factors are all easy to set in the meter and data is quickly and easily obtained from the comma separated variable text file on the meter's compact flash card.
