The NRH-1 Handset provides a very simple means for the complainant to record audio. With a clearly labelled green Start button the functionality is self-evident to even the most inform complainant. The green Start button LED is flashes rapidly when the system is recording audio. This helps assure the complainant that they are recording audio when they think they are and serves as a handy check when the investigator installs the equipment. It also serves as a handy check that they system is recording when it has been activated by the wireless remote control supplied with all ANV Measurement Systems Noise Nuisance Recorders and Analysers.
Similarly the complainant needs no instruction to realise that they should press the red Stop button when the noise that they are complaining of ceases. Even so, should the user forget to press stop the Noise Nuisance Recorders and Analysers are generally programmed to stop recording after a 5 or 15 minute period (so that the memory card is not filled with accidentally recorded audio and minimising the amount of time that the investigator will need to spend reviewing the audio).
- Green for Start and red for Stop buttons make functionality self-evident;
- Flashing green LED in Start button clear indication that Audio is being recorded;
- Flashing green LED in Start button also provides clear indication that audio is being recorded when this has been activated by the wireless remote control supplied with all ANV Measurement Systems Noise Nuisance Recorders and Analysers.
