Product Description

The Nor145 Environmental Sound Package is the most comprehensive, portable, single channel analyser available for the measurement of environmental sound.

The three simultaneous sound profiles enable direct measurement of 1 hour, 15 minute and 10 – 25 msec samples, for example, to support a detailed daytime and night-time BS 4142 assessment including the data for evaluating impulsivity.

Octave/third octave measurements are essential for evaluating mitigation requirements and the facility to simultaneously carry these out with FFT and audio means that tonal audibility can also be addressed. Being able to operate the Nor145 from a mobile phone or tablet can also be helpful for attended surveys.

The large display, alphanumeric trigger labelling, text and voice notes, powerful back erase and the ability to listen to recorded audio make the Nor145 a uniquely effective tool for attended noise surveys. Being able to use large capacity micro-SD cards support use of these powerful features without fear of running out of memory.
