The VA-14 is a uniquely, powerful, portable and easy to use), practical and self-standing machinery vibration analyser. Measurement results can be reviewed in situ on the VA-14’s large, full colour backlit screen, which is visible in all lighting conditions.
Measurement set-ups can be stored and/or recalled making the instrument easy to use by both experts less experienced team members. Anything shown on the display can be saved as a bitmap and shared.
The VA-14 can also store manual and auto-stored measurement results (onto an SD card) in standard file formats (csv and calibrated wav files) facilitating additional post processing of the results. The data is also transferable, and the instrument can be operated via ethernet or USB-C.
Using the VA-14 as a vibration meter, it will simultaneously display overall levels in terms of acceleration, velocity and displacement. As an FFT analyser it will show the (instantaneous, linear or exponentially averaged or maximum) spectrum in terms of acceleration, velocity or displacement. Linear average and maximum value FFTs can be simultaneously stores.
In Time Mode the VA-14 can display and store the waveform in terms of acceleration, velocity or displacement.
The VA-14 can be used with and ICP pre-amp and microphone for powerful engineering analysis of sound and for recording audio wav files.
A Fault Diagnosis Option (VX-14D) is available for the VA-14 which identifies fault conditions and fault locations, distinguishing between wear-related (bearings/gears) and structural (unbalance/misalignment/looseness) faults on the basis of ISO 10816-1 or user-defined thresholds.
